All the Sunday mornings of the world
Marillion, Los lobotomis, Ecolyn, Yes, Toto, Ritual, Anglagard... this is the music that filled the comforting space of Julianne's childhood Sunday mornings.
Narrative, complex, even theatrical, it simply punctuated her first steps, and her passion was born at that moment.
Then one day, devouring her father's enormous album, she came across "Diary of a Madman" with Randy Rhoads on guitar; it was a shock.
She no longer wanted to be content with just listening to music; she wanted to be part of it!
She first picked up the classical guitar before turning to amplified instruments, and she joined the Shadow Pussies as a lead guitarist.
You-rock, which rocked with a sometimes punk energy, she had a blast for two years and even tried her hand at backing vocals. She then joined the webzine Metal Overload, for which she writes live reports, thus combining her passion for music and writing.
And finally, comes Nine Moons Ago, where she has been serving as a vocalist for the past few months. Julianne is thus able to express herself through dark, strange, and melancholic lyrics, but she doesn't despair of being able to realize her secret dream of a duet with Patrick Sébastien.

Manu and his rock galaxy
Imagine a small teenage bedroom where it's impossible to get in because a drum kit takes up all the space. It's the brother's room, who doesn't want it anymore. It's 1989. The turntable is cranked to the max, "Money for Nothing" starts. And a kid grabs his drumsticks to imitate Terry Williams. That's when the spirit entered.
So it all started here for Manu, in a bedroom, in a tank top and a bandana over his forehead. And then came 1991 and 1992 and his musical explosion! "Nevermind," Metallica's black album, "Blood Sugar, Sex and Magik," and especially "Rage Against the Machine"!
A single idea in mind: to join a band.
"Blind Witness" would be the first. Pure metal fusion, the violence of the riffs mixed with the fury of the lyrics. Then came a second, grunge this time. Manu then opened up to musical creations blending theater and circus arts, with jazz-pop accents. "Hoppi Mnafek" would later allow him to travel through reggae-ska-Latin rhythms, surrounded by a horn section and talented musicians.
But the desire to return to his roots is stronger. The rock universe calls him back. It's 2010.
Manu then joins "The Divorcers" to play music with multiple influences ranging from Australian rock to heavy blues, flirting with glam rock and heavy metal.
Today, with 9 Moons Ago, Manu's musical story takes on a new lease of life. A band and musicians who allow him to sublimate his inspirations in a rock sound that is at once powerful, captivating, and delicate.

Bass

Philo, a bassist since adolescence, is as atypical as his first name: Philogone.
Summer or winter, in a t-shirt, he's always ready to groove.
Unobtrusive on stage, he gets a kick out of playing his 70s bass.
Oh, and don't be fooled by his concentrated expression, he's just cooking up a cheap joke.

Ronan and the love of FUZZ
"Having fallen under the spell of various musical styles, especially rock (punk, hard rock, 70s rock, psychedelic, and metal), I discovered a rich scene in the early 90s in the "Stoner" scene, where I found a blend of all the influences that made me vibrate.
All of this, of course, with a common denominator: fuzz and a very heavy sound.
As a guitarist in Attack of Mutant Camels, then bassist in Glowsun, with whom I had the opportunity to release three albums and play across Europe alongside renowned bands from the Stoner scene, but also... in sometimes improbable places!
I'm not a big talker, but I do like to make people trip through music. It has to give you emotions, take you on a journey."

Let's continue with Seb and his universe
Seb first received classical piano training before exploring the world of guitar.
Nourished by his jazz influences, he won't hesitate to tickle your eardrums with sometimes surprising and exhilarating sounds that support the groove of 9 Moons Ago. What he loves most? Blurring the lines so that the band's musical style is authentic and uncategorized!
Always ready to take on a challenge, he adds a little vocal touch here and there to complement Julianne's magnificent timbre.
